The Department of Surveying & Geoinformatics Engineering serves educational and research needs in a range of scientific fields as follows:

The measurement and collection, processing, display, management, analysis and online dissemination of geometric as well as quantitative and qualitative information about the natural and man-made environment.

Moreover, it focuses on cognitive subjects of undergraduate and postgraduate studies which represent the combination of the two main axes of the science of Surveying Engineering: Topography and Geoinformatics, in which the professional rights of the graduates of the Department are essentially based.
